English 10 Honors

Welcome to Western Guilford High School and 10th Grade English! Your decision to engage in an advanced curriculum tells me that you value intellectual challenge and take seriously the work of the mind.  I wouldn’t be teaching English if I wasn’t convinced that literature is incredibly exciting, thought-provoking, and powerful.  This year, you are going to learn how to read, write, and speak better – skills that will help you everywhere you go in life.
